KnowShanghai.com provides comprehensive travel, tourism, and business services specifically focused on Shanghai and surrounding regions. Our service portfolio encompasses eight distinct categories designed to meet diverse client needs ranging from individual tourism to corporate business solutions.
SERVICE AVAILABILITY
Services are subject to availability, seasonal variations, and operational capacity. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service without prior notice. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are updated regularly but may not reflect real-time changes.
All services are delivered according to our established quality standards and professional protocols. While we strive to exceed expectations, service delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control including weather conditions, government regulations, third-party provider limitations, and force majeure events.
THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Many services involve coordination with third-party providers including hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, and activity venues. While we carefully vet all partners, their performance is subject to their own terms and conditions.
03. OBLIGATIONS
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our services. You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information including personal details, travel documents, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and any other information relevant to service delivery. Inaccurate information may result in service disruption or additional charges.
Clients must maintain respectful and appropriate behavior toward our staff, partners, and other clients. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate service termination without refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who violate our behavioral standards.
SECURITY OBLIGATIONS
Users must maintain the confidentiality of account credentials, report unauthorized access immediately, and take reasonable precautions to protect personal information and payment details.

Payment schedules vary by service type. Standard tours require 50% deposit upon booking with balance due 48 hours before service commencement. Premium services may require full payment in advance. Corporate accounts may be eligible for net-30 payment terms subject to credit approval.
CURRENCY & PRICING
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Exchange rates are determined at the time of payment processing. Additional fees may apply for currency conversion, international transactions, or payment processing depending on your chosen payment method.
LATE PAYMENT CONSEQUENCES
Late payments may result in service suspension, cancellation fees, and interest charges of 1.5% per month on outstanding balances. Repeated late payments may affect future booking eligibility.

FORCE MAJEURE EXCEPTIONS
Cancellations due to natural disasters, government restrictions, health emergencies, or other force majeure events may be eligible for full refund or service credit at our discretion. Documentation may be required to verify circumstances.
No-show clients forfeit all payments and are not eligible for refunds or service credits. Clients must notify us of delays or changes at least 2 hours before scheduled service commencement to avoid no-show classification.
REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution and payment method used.
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
06. LIABILITY
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Clients participate in activities at their own risk.
07. IP RIGHTS
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property remain our exclusive property. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
08. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by Chinese law. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Shanghai. Users consent to jurisdiction of Shanghai courts for enforcement.
